'Gitan'
Acrylic Paint - 120cm x 100cm
Completed late 2020. Gitan is a beautiful location I would visit on the weekends when I lived up north on Elcho Island. The whole area gives the impression of the surface of Mars, spiky red and yellow ochre cliffs in every direction. The young man on the cliff's name is Jeremiah, I helped him use a speargun on the day the initial photo was taken. This painting was a gift to the Principal and her husband on the island.

'Home - Green River'
Acrylic Paint - 120cm x 90cm
Green River is a small village located far up the Sepik river in PNG. Some close friends of mine have been trying to move back there but haven't been able to due to covid. I painted this as a gift to remind them of where their heart is and hope for the future. I was lucky enough to visit Green River with them in 2019.
The artwork was completed start of 2022.

'The Road To Mt Cook'
Acrylic Paint - 120cm x 90cm
Mt. Cook National Park is truly one of the most spectacular and daunting landscapes you could ever come across. I visited this exact spot on a family holiday and always thought it would be an incredible vista to paint. After I completed the artwork in 2021, I found out an older family friend of mine had actually grown up in the mountain country, and her father used to run sheep in the exact location of this photo during the warmer months. So I ended up giving her this painting as a birthday gift, there was a lot of tears of joy, I truly could never have hoped for this artwork to mean so much to someone.

'Gäwa'
Acrylic Paint - 120cm x 120cm
At the end of 2020 my time living on Elcho Island was coming to a close and I wanted to leave the community and school I was working/living in a farewell gift. I found a huge square piece of plywood as my canvas and started to paint the community as viewed from a drone flight I'd taken several weeks earlier. The smoke in the background is the neighbouring island raging with a giant bushfire that a few local boys had started by accident as they were trying to smoke out a goanna they were hunting out of his hiding place in a tree.
